In December 2012, we provided support for OXFAM Tanzania HIV in the workplace initiative and World AIDS day commemoration event. Our role was to coordinate the entire program, facilitate and organize logistics. This intimate event aimed to encourage open discussions about HIV/AIDS among OXFAM staff and their families, fostering dialogue between parents and children. We structured the event into distinct groups for adults, youth and children, each engaging in activities tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, the program offered free Voluntary Counseling and Testing. Towards the end of the sessions, we conducted ‘talk shops’ where parents and their children could openly discuss topics related to prevention, stigma and relationship building.
