We partnered with UNDP and the Government of Tanzania Planning Commission to facilitate the ‘China-Africa Agriculture Modernisation Forum’. Capacitate took charge of coordinating the forum and provided support for facilitation and documentation of the outcomes. The forum brought together high-level Chinese and African Delegates, including researchers and government officials, to explore how agriculture modernization efforts in China and Africa can complement each other’s interests.
Currently, we are documenting UNDP’s success stories from their GEF projects in the Eastern Arc Mountains and Mount Kilimanjaro. Over the past five years, these conservation efforts have yielded valuable insights into what works best, what can be replicated, and what lessons are worth disseminating to other conservation actors striving to preserve nature’s most precious sites. Capacitate will produce two documentaries, policy briefs, and a digital photo-story for the UNDP website.
